QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in keyboarding, computer literacy and familiarity with various applications such as databases, Microsoft Word, EXCEL, Teams, e-mail and internet.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing staff development to expand professional skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skill

Job Details

This is a grant funded part time position that is needed to support the work of the Early Education and Care Programs at the Lynn Public Schools.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages calendars
• Schedules appointments
• Coordinates meetings
• Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, and assists families and other visitors
• Handles correspondence
• Organizes and maintains files
• Inputs data entry in platform and spreadsheets
• Manages office supplies
• Organizes timesheets and attendance
• Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security
• Presents a positive and professional image
• Demonstrates a knowledge of and sensitivity to the educational and socioeconomic needs of the children and families served

An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including a drug test, National fingerprint-based Criminal Background Check (NCBC), and Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI).

All MUST be completed PRIOR to the start of employment.
