Dual Property Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations at the Farmhouse Paso as well as River Lodge Paso.

Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor at River Lodge Paso is responsible for assisting the Hotel Management with supervising the daily operations of housekeeping along with leading the housekeeping team at River Lodge Paso as well as at a sister property (Farmhouse Paso). The job has a high standard of cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Attention to detail is needed to be successful at this position. The supervisor will clean rooms, inspect rooms and common areas, and communicate needs or deficiencies to management. They will also lead training of the housekeeping team. Above all, the River Lodge Paso as well as the Farmhouse Paso attendants are to ensure brand standards of hotel service through extensive training and through standards of procedures (SOPs) and other systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Set an example to the team for brand and performance standards
• Cleaning all assigned rooms in an efficient manner while ensuring effectiveness from all other attendants
• If assigned rooms for inspection, ensure all standards are met and training opportunities are communicated to the attendants and GM
• Train new housekeepers, and assist with ongoing training in an organized manner
• Cleaning bathroom surfaces with no visible residue or hairs left
• Cleaning floors, furniture and windows
• Making beds with sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets to company standards
• Ensure linen and trash is taken away from rooms and disposed of to large bins
• Ability to work independently in rooms and as a part of a team in laundry and folding
• Take inventory of missing room items for agents to charge the guest
• Communicate urgent maintenance to management
• Assist in every month’s inventory and reordering items including cleaning supplies, linens, towels, and robes
• Foresee operational deficiencies, potential problems and communicate possible solutions to the management
• Other duties may be asked of this position by management occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
