DSP (Direct Support Professional)

This is a Support Service Professional position for a 25-year-old young man with a seizure disorder and developmental disabilities who resides at home in Mount Bethel, PA.

Hours:

• Every other Saturday and Sunday
• 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm (Flexible 6-8 hrs a day)

$22.81 per/hr

Duties include:

• Actively working to support a client with Activities of Daily Living, including transferring (only if 2:1)
• Socially interacting with the client in his home
• Taking client out into the community to engage in physical activities

Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have or be willing to undergo necessary background checks
• Physically able to assist with the transferring of the client, as needed
• Possess CPR and First Aid certifications
• Provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
