Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company is looking for an Office Administrator for the Dragados-Hawaiian Dredging-Orion (DHO) Joint Venture Office. The Office Administrator is responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, coordinating meetings and performing clerical tasks. This position reports to the Commercial Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage office tasks including answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining office supplies.
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for company staff.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of reports, documents, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
- Handle customer inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Perform general administrative duties as required to facilitate company operations.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Office Location: 960 Mapunapuna St. 2nd Floor
- Office Hours: 7:30-4:30 pm, Monday- Friday
- Parking: Street parking only
Starting Salary: $50,000/yr.
