Form of workAcuren has an exciting opportunity to advance your career as a DroneProject Manager focused on inspection, safety and quality supporting our Unmanned Inspection operations.
Reporting to the Division Manager, the Project Manager has overall responsibility for the operations of Acuren at the customer site. This includes but is not limited to compliance (safety, QA, ). The PM will oversee and provide direction for all Acuren crews working onsite.
- Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects
- Handle all project scheduling for the customer
- Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
- Work closely with client to identify and remove obstacles
- Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
- Ensure employees and site leads have the tools and training to perform their jobs proficiently
- Evaluate each department to identify areas where efficiency, quality, production and safety can be improved
- Encourage adequate feedback from employees to ensure continual improvement of program
- Develop equipment resource planning and renewal initiatives
- Site safety management
- Participate in performance management of site employees
- Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, UAV Operator experience with verifiable flight time – fixed wing, rotor, or multirotor.
- Previous leadership experience an asset
- Current FAA Part 107 certificate
- Experience in the defense and/or aerospace industry preferred
- Experience with Esri software solutions & GIS/CAD based databases a plus
- Experience with a wide variety of sensors, (LiDAR, EO/IR Cameras, and Multi/Hyperspectral)
