HEXA Containment is looking for a reliable employee to oversee the packaging/fulfillment of orders and make deliveries as needed. This person will be responsible for safely and accurately packaging, scheduling, and delivering our product while adhering to the required time schedules. As the face of HEXA, you will be expected to be polite and prompt in your interactions with our customers.
This is a non-CDL driver position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Delivery Driver position will be a part of our growing Operations team. As a member of this team, the candidate will be expected to:
- Treat all customers and vendors respectfully and graciously.
- Answer the company phone.
- Ensure the cleanliness of vehicles
- Treat all customers and vendors respectfully and graciously.
- Log and submit all receipts monthly
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules
- Load trucks and trailers as needed.
- Ensure all loads are secured and safe.
- Maintain a record of all signed delivery tickets
- Operate all vehicles safely.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Deliver products to customers with the company's 26' box truck.
- Restock HEXA Branch
- Whenever deliveries do not need to be made, report to Operations for an alternate assignment.
- We provide all Delivery Drivers with a company cell phone and apparel upon employment.
- Oversee the packaging of outbound orders
- Meet delivery timetables and requirements while working safely and efficiently
At HEXA Containment, we work whenever our customer works. Regular working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch, Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of the industry we serve, the candidate will sometimes be expected to take a short lunch and/or work outside regular working hours when needed to take care of both internal and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license issued by the state where you intend to work
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Clean driving record
- Pass a background check
- Ability to travel and make multi-day routes (hotel provided)
- Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
- Ability to get Forklift and TWIC certified
- Must complete pre-employment testing.
- Must read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training
