Warehouse Associate/ Box Truck Driver

The Galveston County Food Bank is looking for a full time Warehouse Associate/Box truck driver - NON CDL POSITION. This is Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays and evenings required. Please list previous experience and references.

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class C Drivers License with acceptable driving record
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery Box Truck, GVWR 10,100 lbs. or more
• Large truck driving experience preferred
• Moving Packages 50LBS - 300LBS
• Electric pallet jack experience
• Forklift experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Electric pallet jack
• Forklift
• Use hand held device for inventory
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages
• Work with team. Dolly's, moving straps, and automatic lift gates provided
• Standard warehouse cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Reliable and on time to start shift
