Customer Service
• Providing back up and support to the Retail Associate
• Greeting customers as they enter the store or call in by phone
• Building customer relationships by providing a positive sales experience
• Be knowledgeable about our range of products and services
• Operate the POS register
• Other duties as assigned
·Shipping & Receiving
• Pull/pick orders to be shipped
• Track incoming & outgoing inventory
• Understand and follow daily shipping schedule
• Prepares paperwork for shipment of order, files paperwork to ensure proper invoicing
Delivery/Driver- Make scheduled deliveries as needed adhering to company safety standards: loading and unloading of company vehicles as required
• Ensures correct items are off-loaded at each stop
• Completes all paperwork as required
• Develops and maintains outstanding working relationships with customers
• Plans and carries out daily route to ensure that all deliveries are made
• Communicates issues to supervisor in a timely manner
• Makes timely deliveries to customers – placing items to customer specification
• ·Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
• Drives safely and maintains valid driver’s license
Requirements/Experience:
· Clean driver’s abstract/clean driving record
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
· Knowledge of Warehouse Operations, Shipping & Receiving
· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Ability to perform physical requirements including ability to lift 60 lbs
· Fork Truck experience a plus
·21 Years or older
As a delivery driver with HARMCO Fastener, you’ll drive one of our cargo vans or box truck and drop off orders to our customers. Every day, you’ll start with a safety check, assist with loading your truck and verifying product accuracy, and make multiple deliveries before you’ll return to the warehouse.
To be considered for in this role, you must be 21 or older, able to lift to 60 pounds, and have a clean driving abstract. Experience driving a large truck that would require you to check corners and pay attention to details on the road.
