Job Summary:

The Driver/Transportation is responsible for assuring dependable community-sponsored scheduled transportation is implemented appropriately and timely, with Resident safety the primary priority. We have availability for 24 hours per week with the opportunity for trips as needed as well.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirm transportation schedule as designated by the Lifestyle Director - date, time, type, locations, and directions. Transport Residents to and from activities / errands in safe, organized, and responsible fashion.
• Communicate with Residents at least 24 hours prior to departure to clarify times and route.
• Maintain company owned vehicles to keep them in safe, and efficient working order. Inform Lifestyle Director of any maintenance issues concerning the vehicles.
• Fuel vehicle as needed and provide gas receipts to the Lifestyle Director or appropriate Lifestyle staff for processing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid State of Residence Driver’s License with safe driving record
• Experience in transportation, bus driving or shuttle driving preferred
