Driver - Event Installer

We are seeking reliable and hardworking freelance/part-time individuals to assist us in driving for our labor team.

*Must be able to drive throughout manhattan, brooklyn area and drive Sprinters, 16′ (primary) , 24′ Straight Trucks, and 26' Trucks

Responsibilities:

As a Driver- Event Installer you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:

• Help load and unload trucks with rental gear.
• Set-up and strike equipment for events.
• Pick-up and deliver rental equipment in the Tri-State area.
• Organizational work in shop as required.
• Flexibility regarding daily work schedule: work often includes late nights and weekends
• Must be able to pick up 62 lbs repeatedly, push and pull heavy rolling cases.
• Prior experience in audio visual, special events, film, and television or theater production a plus.

Your Experience:

Job Labor Includes (but is not limited to):

• Driving around the tri-state area.
• Carrying heavy objects in and out of the vehicle.
• Packing large and small objects into vehicle in a tidy and organized manner.
• Ensuring the safety of all items on board.

Requirements:

• ***Must be flexible!!!
• ***Must have experience driving trucks
• Must be comfortable driving different types of vehicles – vans, trucks, etc. ranging from Vans, but primarily 16'-24' trucks
• Valid driver’s license, CDL would be better
• Work well with others and as a team.
• Must be able to efficiently communicate with team members.
• Able to work early/late hours.
• Must have handyman skills.
• Must be able to work early hours, or evening
• Flexible hours, willing to be on call if not booked a certain day
• Ability to pick up and carry 50+ pounds.
• Speaking both English and Spanish is a plus.
