Drafter - Accepting Applications, Currently Hiring

Overview:

Generates spool drawings in Acorn specific to the Company's pipe fabrication business line.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot and apply critical thinking skills as applicable to the position
• Completion of assignments in a timely and accurate fashion
• Piece marking of customer isometric or orthographic drawings
• Interacts and gives feedback on workload and status as required by the drafting supervisor
• Provides support to project management on drawing interpretation
• Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures
• Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately
• Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric and orthographic drawings
• Knowledge of pipe fabrication and Acorn is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional ability to work well with management
• Communication and teaming abilities
• Proven organizational skills
• Proven work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
