New Leaf Senior Transitions is the leading senior move management team in northern California, specializing in assisting older adults and their families with the process of downsizing and transitioning into a residence. Our focus is on creating a compassionate, efficient, and positive experience for each of our clients. Our goal is to provide customized assistance with the overwhelming task of downsizing from their longtime home.

We take client satisfaction very seriously. We are looking to hire a team member with true compassion for working with clients. The scope of your job involves strong attention to detail while handling, packing, and unpacking personal property. This requires patience and understanding that this is someone’s property with sentimental value – you must handle is as it if were your own. Being presentable, responsible, and having lots of energy is a must.

We are looking to hire a smart, energetic team member to work with our clients throughout the Sacramento area. This person is responsible for creating a compassionate, efficient, and positive experience for each of our customers. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with and supporting older adults and has a strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask. This candidate is also highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable to different personalities. Must be able to work with a team in a professional and kind manner.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide exceptional customer service as you safely downsize, declutter, pack and unpack customer belongings

· Assist with sorting and downsizing of customer belongings, large and small

· Maintain organization of personal tools and supplies at the job location

· Communicate professionally, strong interpersonal skills

· Follow direction from team leader on site and take initiative as needed

· Follow and give direction in a team setting

Job Requirements

· We seek candidates with a commitment to the customer and an appreciation for variety in your job

· Experience working with seniors is a plus and/or having had own life experience downsizing a parent, grandparent or other older adult

· Must have access to your own reliable vehicle for transportation and cell phone

· Positive, can-do approach and patience when working with senior citizens

· Able to shift tasks quickly and as needed

· Stamina to work for a minimum of 4 hours and occasionally lift heavy items up to 30 lbs.

· Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule, but still treat this as seriously as any full-time position

· You will be requested to supply 3 references and a background check will performed.

· 25-40 hours per week

·Monday thru Friday availability, Occassional weekends
