Primary Function
Prepare the highest quality baked goods for the Doughbox Bakery and other Food Service areas.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities): include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Prepare high-quality baked goods while following proper food handling procedures and safe work habits.
2. Prepare products, which may include pies, sweet rolls & doughnuts, dinner rolls, bread, cookies, etc., in accordance with prescribed recipes.
3. Inspect bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met.
4. Read orders and ensure for efficient preparation of products.
5. Ensure for the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, making sure baking tools, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
6. Provide exceptional guest experiences.
7. Communicate effectively with guests, team leader, management and coworkers of all areas in Sauder Village.
8. Keep the safety of guests, staff, and self a priority.
9. Work as needed including weekends and holidays.
10. Care for the building, its cleanliness, and equipment.
11. Assist where needed performing additional duties such as dishes, sweeping, stocking, etc. as directed.
