Dog Park Attendant

GoDog is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Dog Park Attendant. In this unique role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our dogs and their owners in our on-site Dog Park.
Responsibilities:
Park Monitoring:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure the safety of dogs and patrons within the Dog Park area.
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene in case of aggressive or unsafe interactions.
• Provide assistance and guidance to dog owners regarding park rules and etiquette.
• Promptly address and clean up any yard messes to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate with management immediately regarding any safety concerns or incidents.
• Make a point of learning each dog's name by interacting with their owners, fostering a sense of belonging.
• Engage actively with our four-legged patrons, providing them with the attention and playtime they deserve.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with fellow attendants, managers, and kennel staff.
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels with patience and confidence.Some prior experience in dog handling is preferred, but not required
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our facility operates during extended hours.
