Dog Daycare Staff, Part-time or Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking 2 part-time or 1 full-time daycare team member(s). Daycare staff are the heart of our business and tend to the needs of dogs staying with us for daycare and boarding. This includes cleaning, feeding, monitoring play, and communicating with their parents.

Responsibilities and Duties: Our staff are trained on all aspects of working at a doggy daycare but start out mainly on the play floor. All staff members are responsible for safe management of dogs at play, following detailed instructions for feeding and administering medication to dogs in our care, client relations, telephone, text and email communications, making reservations, evaluating dog behavior, keeping the entire facility sparkling, communicating directly with clients about their dogs, and much more! Most of our client's pups are high energy so you must be very patient and comfortable with dog play.

Qualifications and Skills: All applicants must love dogs, have fantastic communication skills, great references, be able to stand and walk around for at least 8 hours, lift 50 lbs., and be comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Applicants must also have basic knowledge related to caring for dogs, leadership skills, the ability to take initiative and make good common sense decisions. Professional experience with dogs or previous experience at a daycare is preferred but not required! Pay rate is based on experience.

Pay: $15.45 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
