We are looking for applicants experienced with animals. Must be comfortable around dogs and packs.
Shifts needed: 3:30-7:30 (3 to 4 times a week) and possibly 11-3 (3-4 times a week), or possibly full-day shifts 11:30-7:30 (3-4 times a week). We can discuss timings during the interview, but the later shift is a requirement.

We seek Kennel Technicians experienced with animals and a positive attitude, providing a fun and secure experience for our pets and their families.
You will receive training later in the company to bathe animals and assist other associates with grooming clients. Must be okay with this duty.
Responsibilities:
- Understand each pet's specific personality, needs, and preferences.
- Facilitate structured activities for pets' physical engagement, mental stimulation, and fitness.
- Actively oversee and understand pack dynamics, creating a positive and safe play environment.
- Observe pet behavior, intervening to prevent fights and injuries.
- Set up rooms with water-filled bowls, bedding, and approved toys.
- Encourage play and interaction between pets.
- Clean and sanitize items as necessary.
- Inspect toys regularly and remove unsafe ones.
- Ensure pets wear appropriate, flat, quick-release collars.
- Transport pets to and from boarding areas.
- Conduct temperament tests with prospective pets and their parents.
- Maintain pet files and ensure current contracts.
- Clean up after pets promptly.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment.
- Report items in low supply.
- Follow safety and cleanliness procedures.
- Complete daily reports and provide feedback to customers.
- Supervise separate playgroups as required.
- Assist other associates as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable around animals.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Able to stand for full shifts.
- Capable of bending, stooping, and squatting.
- Competent with computer systems and written reports.
- Able to handle large dogs on leashes.
- Can work in a noisy environment with exposure to chemicals, dander, and eliminations.
- Maintains a professional manner.
