Is it your dream job to play with dogs all day? Rover Oaks Pet Resort in Katy is looking for a Dog Daycare Counselor to join our fun team!
We are looking for dog lovers to work in our Daycare Department. The Daycare department plays a big role at Rover Oaks. We are well-renowned in the Katy community, operating for over 16 years, offering services in Daycare, Grooming, Training and Lodging.
Our Dog Daycare Counselors engage in activities with dogs in the daycare yards and pool areas. They ensure dogs have water and maintain overall good health during their visit and have a great time. Yes, this role does require some cleaning tasks, as that is important to the safety and overall care of the pets who come here. Our Daycare Counselors also interact with pet parents daily at pick-up and drop-off and get to participate in fun events at the resort throughout the year.
Safety is one of our top priorities and we provide detailed training for our Counselors and maintain safe and appropriate dog-to-staff ratios. All dogs in our Daycare and Group Play programs must pass a 2-day evaluation.
We offer many Perks to working at Rover Oaks, including the opportunity to bring your own dog to work with you, a great team member discount that also includes 10 free nights of lodging per year and other more traditional benefits such as competitive pay, 401k, medical/dental/vision insurance, employee assistance program and much more.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy being a part of, we encourage you to apply!
