We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant. As a Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our Daycare/Boarding facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to make a positive impact on their well-being.
Duties:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games and exercises
- Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing play areas, washing bedding, and organizing toys
- Monitor dogs' behavior and report any signs of aggression, illness, or injury to the management
- Assist with feeding and providing fresh water to dogs according to their dietary needs
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and any special instructions
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kennel, animal care facility, or as a veterinary technician is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with dog owners
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and understanding of dog behavior
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds safely and confidently
- Basic knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a genuine love for animals

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
