Dogtopia, the industry leader in Dog Daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized individual that will be the leader of the playroom. Extensive training is provided for this position to ensure you are comfortable, safe and enjoy your job. We want you to succeed and we will work hard with you to ensure you are successful.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and proactively run one of our three playrooms ensuring the health and safety of every dog.
• Engage in stimulating, fun, educational activities and games with the dogs, teaching basic obedience skills.
• Quickly address behavioral issues without the use of force or physical punishment.
• Proactively keep the playroom clean at all times.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments to maintain a safe, clean play environment.
• Oversight of overnight guest food, medication and belongings
• Smile! You are on camera for our loving pet parents to see at all times.
Additional Expectations:
• Ability to learn dog recognition
• Completion of all required training, including all e-learning platforms
• Ability to lovingly handle dogs up to 150 pounds
• Ability to complete spa tasks including bathing, nails, teeth, and ears.
• Ability to "own" a room of dogs
Personal Characteristics:
• Must love dogs!
• Have an eagerness to learn, be engaged and support your teammates.
• Enjoy working Independently and being in charge of your assigned playroom.
• Prefers to keep things in order and clean for the health of our furry friends.
• Can handle occasionally chaotic situations while remaining calm.
• Have a strong desire to improve and look for better ways to do things.
Qualifications:
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing.
• Ability to work flexible day and hours, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
