SalaryPaws is looking to add a full time or part- time team member to our pack who is dog loving, enjoys the outdoors, and is energetic!
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising large groups of dogs of all sizes, participating in enrichment activities throughout the day to keep dogs stimulated.
- Confident in quick thinking and de-escalation in times of urgency.
- Comfortable using social media and an iPhone to post pictures of the pups.
- Administering meals and medications.
- Using a laptop or computer to make daycare/boarding/grooming reservations online.
- Comfortable speaking to clients daily and check in/out dogs.
- Working in a team environment to ensure a safe environment.
- General cleaning i.e: cleaning kennels, disinfecting yards and high traffic areas, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, washing dishes, & scooping poop.
- Paid continued education such as Pet First Aid & CPR, Dog Behavior, as well as general pet wellness classes.
- Comfortable working outside in all seasons year round.
Patience is a necessity when working with our daycare and boarding pups! Experience with animals is preferred, but not required.
Availability we are currently looking for:
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Weekends if needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
