Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional for the position of DoD CIO Engagement and Sync Support. In this role, you will apply advanced military principles, theories, concepts, and recommendations to support the C4 Directorate. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the development of strategies, conducting sophisticated technical research, and ensuring managerial proficiency to meet military requirements for the C4 Directorate.
Duties
- Provide technical and functional expertise in DoD and Service strategy, policy, planning, and cyberspace operations. Conduct document reviews, analyze issues, prepare comments, and coordinate with leadership on policy, doctrine, legislation, and Command processes.
- Support inter-agency coordination of decision documents through electronic dissemination to ensure consistent understanding and cognizance of the Directorate’s position on sensitive issues. Draft and coordinate analysis to support USCYBERCOM leadership in generating coordinated responses with internal and external stakeholders.
- Regularly engage with Government leadership to ensure consistency and accuracy regarding J6 posture on time-sensitive tasks. Provide time-sensitive task analysis in response to USCYBERCOM and DoD-derived requests.
- Assist in developing summary planning documentation to support engagements and provide weekly support updates tracking time-sensitive tasks and business both internally and externally to USCYBERCOM. Assist Government leadership in integrating and executing Command initiatives and objectives, including the development of concepts of operation and doctrine related to cyber operations.
- Utilize a task management system to track, manage, and complete actions. Monitor and ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance procedures and evaluate task comments and responses. Contribute to the DoD requirements definition process, capability requirements management, capabilities development, and systems acquisition support.
- Apply systems engineering principles and possess DoD Joint planning experience. Demonstrate experience in decision analysis, including DoD Risk Assessment methodologies, Course of Action development, and resourcing impacts.
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DoD/Service-level strategy, policy, planning, and operations.
- 3+ years of DoD/Service Component staff experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline in the area of expertise from an accredited college or university. One of the following security certifications (active status): CGRC, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP (minimum DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification).
- Desired a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
