We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DoD Account Executive to launch Keeper Security in the DoD community. The ideal candidate will be a positive and collaborative team player with a strong background in federal software sales. This is a 100% remote position!

About the Role

This integral role will lead DoD sales activities. As an experienced Account Executive at Keeper, you will be responsible for the identification, qualification and bid of opportunities to secure new contracts across the DoD. This individual will develop and establish strong ongoing relationships with DoD end-users, engineering stakeholders, program offices, contracting personnel, small businesses, strategic teaming partnerships and industry stakeholders. The DoD Account Executive will report to our Director of Public Sector and work alongside other sales professionals in the public sector space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers within the DoD, leveraging your understanding of their unique security needs and compliance requirements, including:
    • DoD Zero Trust policies and programs (e.g., DoD Zero Trust Strategy, DoD CIO Zero Trust Reference Architecture)
    • ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) frameworks and best practices within the Zero Trust context
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations showcasing how Keeper's solutions address specific DoD challenges and regulations, demonstrating alignment with:
    • Current and future Zero Trust initiatives
    • ICAM integration and interoperability requirements
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with DoD stakeholders to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction, advocating for Keeper as a valuable partner in their ZT and ICAM initiatives
  • Assist Partners in broadening their product expertise and sales opportunities, striving for growth from all associated selling resources
  • Partner with our channel lead to align with our federal distributor on partner recruitment and market campaign initiatives
  • Identify and recruit new federal reseller partners in key market segments
  • Coordinate and conduct sales training for partner onboarding and track completion of training in the Keeper Academy to certify partners
  • Build and maintain quarterly business plans
  • Drive marketing initiatives, go-to-market programs, and demand generation activities
  • Have the ability to travel to and from customer meetings (locally and nationally) & rent and/or operate a car on behalf of the company
  • Provide timely and on-going deal support to help close new opportunities at identified resellers including pricing requests, resource coordination, and other partner management activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling security or infrastructure software into the Department of Defense
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Strong written/verbal communications skills
  • Very motivated and goal-oriented
  • Must want a career-oriented environment that is both fun and professional
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • You share our values, and work in accordance with those values
  • Do to the nature of this role, working with the DoD, all applicants must be a U.S. person
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
