Our current team at VPE Thermal is offering an opportunity for a Document Controller with a background in manufacturing processes or business administration.

 Pay Range: $24 to $28 per hour (depending on experience)

 Job Description:

As a Document Controller at VPE Thermal, your primary role will be managing and controlling technical documents throughout their lifecycle, from creation to archiving.  On any day your tasks could be:

•          Collaboration with colleagues to make sure engineering drawings are reviewed and approved.

•          Visiting the manufacturing floor to replace engineering drawings with the most updated versions.

•          Preparing a certification package for products being shipped

•          Reviewing and maintaining the Document Control folders on the server.

•          Assist with purchasing, marketing, and accounting related tasks, and anything in-between.

Required Experience and Skills

•          Associate degree in business administration or related field; or 2-3+ years’ experience in Document Control or office related work.

•          Microsoft Office proficiency including Word and Excel

•          Adobe Acrobat proficiency (PDF)

•          Understand files and folder arrangement in a computer.

•          Responsible and dependable, ready to learn.

•          Good computer and typing skills.

•          Strong reading and writing skills.
