Dock Office Billing Clerk - Nights And Weekends

Frozen Food Express is looking for a Nights and WeekendsBilling Clerk for our Lancaster, TX location.

**Must be able to work 2rd or 3rd shift and be available on weekends**

Responsibilities:

• Create freight manifest list using applicable coding.
• Work with Dock Supervisor / Dock Lead to troubleshoot any discrepancies.
• Assist dispatcher with dispatch sheet and advising drivers concerning any problems encountered in the pickup and delivery of freight.
• Responsible for all inbound and outbound paperwork.
• Run delivery receipts and scan all bill of ladings.
• Maintain count list of items received or shipped and check against bill of lading, recording any discrepancies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must be able to work Wednesday – Saturday 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM additional hours may be required based on business needs
• Strong customer service skills
• Must have at least two years of clerical work experience
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Ability to solve problems where work is defined with established instructions and processes
• Ability to work under close detailed instruction
• Experience in the transportation industry a plus although not required
• Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Must be able to interact well with others
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
• S400 experience is preferred, but not required.
