SUMMARY
Provides high-level administrative support at our dock in order to ensure successful operations as well as the strategic goals of the Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Process paperwork at dock
- Email, phone, and in-person communication with customers and vendors
- Assisting management with customer requests.
- Inventory management activities and data entry.
- Filing and managing client and vendor invoices.
- Enforce and maintain Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and provide proper files and paperwork.
- Maintain neat, professional appearance at all times, including personal appearance as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the office and all equipment; notify the corporate office of any needs/issues.
- Assist other areas of wholesale when necessary or when slow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Saturday availability (half day if needed).
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Efficient in Microsoft computer programs, Company e-mail and their capabilities.
- Knowledge of products and plants is preferred.
- Ability to work with others in a team atmosphere.
- Capability to prioritize when given multiple tasks.
- Ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment of the industry and be flexible and open to new ideas and changes.
