This position sits within our Content division which identifies and publishes accurate and relevant project data for our software solutions.
The Opportunity
The Document Processing Specialistwill perform audits of the Content, Formatting, and Reprography groups to ensure the efficiency of all processes. Additionally, the individual in this role will verify the quality of reporting and recommend improvements to ensure that greater quality is met, and train team members on the implementation of new processes. This position is located in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Scan documents accurately and efficiently, maintaining a consistent pace to meet productivity goals.
- Verify the quality and legibility of scanned images, making adjustments as necessary.
- Perform data entry tasks when required, including indexing scanned documents with relevant information.
- Review all incoming raw material documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Review all outgoing raw material documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments.
- Organize and categorize digital files according to established file naming conventions and folder structures.
- Perform QCs of project documents that are processed through ConstructConnect Auxiliary Resources to ensure that quality is upheld according to ConstructConnect operating standards
- Perform internal studies to assess efficiency of current processes
- Identify areas for quality improvement and further efficiency and train internal and external team members on the implementation of these new processes
- Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
- Ensure compliance with all time and quality standards relating to ConstructConnect Auxiliary Resources

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
- Associates degree with 2 year customer service experience in a corporate OR 6-18 months experience as a Content Specialist or 6-18 months experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Construction News Reporting experience or Construction industry background preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Word
- Strong Math and Analytical Skills
- Ability to multi-task and be organized, as role will require work on multiple projects across multiple markets, encountering many nuances
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to perform all functions of a Content Specialist
- Ability to effectively adapt to new processes, as projects will include Reprography and Formatting as well as Content
- Understands construction bid process and terms used
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Creative thinking regarding process improvements
- Ability to effectively train team members on new processes
- Willingness to continually embrace professional development
- Attends and participates in meetings as required

- Performs miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
- Must be able to stand, bend and lift 25-50 lb boxes daily when handling documents.
