Job Overview
Come join our dynamic HR team! This position will sit out of our Charlotte Corporate office in South Park. Anticipated travel for this role will be 10%.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager (DEI) will be responsible for the successful support and execution of DEI programs for Coca-Cola Consolidated. This role will execute and implement DEI strategy and deliver integrated solutions to help embed DEI into the full spectrum of the Company’s HR and people strategy. In this newly created position, this individual will be responsible for supporting the Company’s Purpose and Values while creating a diverse workforce, inclusive workplace, and supporting the diverse experiences of our employees, and stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Executes and collaborates on communication for DEI programs, policies, and guidelines to attract, retain and grow a highly skilled and talented diverse workforce
- Provides thought leadership to enhance the Company’s employer brand as a great place for diverse talent by developing and managing strategic alliances with external talent partnerships
- Maintains project plans, collaborate on communications, proactively identify, and address project risks and opportunities as well as determine alternative ways to achieve project/program goals
- Develops and measures success criteria to assess value impact to include but not limited to: diversity, equity, inclusion, talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention
- Serves as an advisor to our Executives, Leadership Group, Human Resources Leadership Team, and other HR colleagues, partnering across the enterprise on areas such as diversity recruiting, talent development, and succession planning
- Partners with the Talent Development team to create internal education programs and training opportunities
- Develops, establishes, and cultivates the Company’s position and structure for employee resource groups that align to the DEI strategy and leads diversity initiatives/programs with reporting metrics and mechanism(s) to monitor and assess effectiveness
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines: recruitment, employment law, compensation and benefits, employee relations, job design and career development, performance management, and training. Working knowledge of payroll
- Intermediate MS Office application skills. Familiarity with HR information systems
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Advanced presentation and persuasion skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Demonstrated ability to lead through a combination of direct authority and subject matter expertise
- Proven ability to maintain confidential information
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge acquired through 3 up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or closely related field Certification PHR or SPHR preferred
