Pay: Commensurate with experience
Hours: 7.5 hours per day as needed
Responsibilities:
Follow written orders of County Health Officer in providing daily care to ill or injured students. Maintain student records and administer medications. Perform state-mandated screenings and prepare reports as required by the State of Indiana. Insist on developing school health programs for all students in the building. Identify health problems and recommend appropriate follow-up to parents. Additional duties may be assigned to the nurse by the Director of Social and Student Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurses with a current, active license in Indiana for the LPN sub positions.
Licensed Registered Nurses with a current, active license in Indiana for the RN sub positions.
Computer knowledge is required.
