Distribution Team Lead
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for optimizing distribution operations? As a Distribution Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our distribution department. We are looking for someone who thrives in a leadership role, possesses a commitment to continuous improvement, and can inspire a team to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize daily shipments to ensure On Time Delivery each day.
- Execute the Transfer process to move inventories between locations efficiently.
- Evaluate and assign labor resources to optimize efficiency.
- Identify and implement new improvement opportunities.
- Participate in lean/continuous improvement actions.
- Ensure 5S processes are followed.
- Maintain the integrity of inventory accuracy.
- Provide continuous feedback to distribution staff on safety, productivity, and quality.
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Competency with Microsoft Office programs and basic computer skills.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information to various audiences.
- Proven ability to multitask and hold others accountable for performance standards.
- Desire for professional growth and taking initiative to improve processes.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
