Job Summary
This person would assist in pulling orders for customers, staging pulled orders and loading trucks for deliveries. Must have great attention to detail and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Regularly perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products. Ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet demand.
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages or discrepancies in orders. Report any quality issues to the supervisor and take appropriate action to rectify them.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Ensure proper maintenance and report any malfunctions.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods. Verify shipments against orders and manage documentation for inbound and outbound logistics.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members and departments to optimize warehouse operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift certification. (The selected candidate will need to complete and pass the Forklift test to obtain the certification)
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good communications skills
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to actively participate in a fast paced, team environment.
Education and Experience
- High school or equivalent
- Speed and accuracy must meet or exceed company performance requirements

Transition to Second Shift and Relocation (January 2024): Please be advised that in January 2024, there may be a transition to a second shift schedule and a relocation to a different location in Bristol, IN. Further details will be provided closer to the date.
Shift Differential: There is a potential for an additional $1-$2 per hour for second shifts, subject to company policy and scheduling needs.
