If you are a dynamic, high performing sales professional with a competitive nature who is looking to join an energetic team, our role as a Dealer Specialist Sales Representative for the Kentucky, South and Central Indiana and Southern Ohio territory is for you. We are looking for an ideal candidate to be a successful champion that can work autonomously and has a history of bringing on new business, exceeding sales quotas, and loves the thrill of the hunt.
The successful applicant should be able to develop a proactive business plan taking into account short and long term strategies that fit with the need for growth and profitability. These plans should take into account sales objectives, profit goals and focus products. These plans will also incorporate Regional and Corporate objectives:
- Exceed customer expectations at every service opportunity with every product we choose to distribute by being the most helpful, friendly and courteous sales professionals in the industry.
- Work as a team with sales, drivers, warehouse, accounting, purchasing and management to achieve and exceed the goals for the company and the territory assigned.
General Duties and Responsibilities include the management of all sales functions, administration, communication, and business planning for an assigned geographic territory and outlying areas.
Position Description:
- Research, identify, and tenaciously generate new business opportunities
- Grow existing customer sales.
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales base
- Exceed budgeted sales and profit margins on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Maintain a high volume of activity focusing on multiple touchpoints including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional, yet consultative, environment
- Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
- Drive to individually compete (and win!) while remaining a fantastic team player
- Continually updates knowledge of products and application to ensure understanding of use in customer business applications
- Specialty building materials experience a plus !
What you bring to the team:
- Proven track record of achievement, preferably selling B2B products or services
- Technically savvy
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Works well with minimal supervision taking initiative to develop personal improvement and career advancement
- Valid driver’s license, access to regular transportation and automobile insurance
