What a typical day as a Distribution Specialist might look like:
- Conduct daily inspections for both DOT and Non-DOT vehicles.
- Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of vehicles.
- Verify quality of received incoming and outgoing materials.
- Loading and Unloading trucks, verifying quantities, and maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with distribution team for fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
- Regularly engage in heavy lifting exceeding 40lbs, requiring safety shoes.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent education, required.
- Prior experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, with a focus on material handling and delivery routes
- Have a valid driver's license as you will utilize a company vehicle.
- Forklift experience, Required.
- DOT Health Certification will be a required aspect (can be obtained following hire)
