- Experience using a database management system
- Solid knowledge of distribution center practices and procedures

- Knowledgeable in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, power point, outlook, and internet explorer)
- Knowledgeable in inventory control processes
- Degree of flexibility to meet changing business needs
- Solid judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to assist CSRs as needed
- Can lead and develop teams within the department
- Knowledgeable in shipping and receiving procedures (international a plus – domestic a must)
- Ability to produce, maintain, and report staff earnings in a timely fashion
- Knowledgeable in freight and shipping applications (USPS, UPS, FEDEX, etc.)
- Ability to maintain positive relationship with carriers

- How to process and print labels
- Direct warehouse operations including: retrofitting, warehouse “start-up”, warehouse maintenance, and order management
- Ensures department meets milestones/goals set by upper management
- Manages staff on day-to-day operations
- Train or set-up training of staff for effective operations
- Track and address staff on expectations for productivity and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Generate monthly reports are requested
- Oversee effective operations of the warehouse including: freight, returns, receiving, parcels and transfers
- Maintain efficient storage and flow of products while maintaining inventory
- Collaborate as needed to drive optimal productivity
- Make decisions and or recommendations on staff members regarding: hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, improvement plans, and corrective actions
- Track and address staff on attendance and tardiness
- Calculate and process weekly pay for production-based staff
- Process and report weekly pay for hourly-based staff
- Process and check (with CSR’S) all credit card orders
- Process, pack, and print labels for priority mail and special orders
- Have a positive relationship with carriers while maintaining an acceptable shipping rate
