Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to lead the Distribution team. The Distribution Manager manages the fulfillment and distribution processes, as well as managing the supervisors, leads, and technicians involved in Distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages day to day operations of wholesale order checks, transport, delivery, and customer service for wholesale sales facility.

· Leads training for new employees and ensures staff are following proper protocol to meet company standards.

· Coordinates with Inventory Control Manager, Sales Staff and Marketing team to ensure the deployment of new product materials and scheduling of product deliveries.

· Communicates consistently and effectively with sales staff and customers to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.

· Works with sales team and customers to ensure flawless execution, checks customer satisfaction, and alerts dispensary staff to new releases at delivery.

· Resolves issues to ensure transparency and effective management expectations with all team members.

· Communicates effectively to maintain team alignment, provides regular updates to the executive team.

· Develops and communicates route schedule, driver, and dispatcher schedules.

· Ensures drivers are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional in all customer scenarios including regulatory compliance and product information.

· Creates and/or reviews the creation of METRC manifests for dispensary deliveries.

· Maintains an accurate raw goods inventory supply based off the department’s needs and coordinates with the Inventory Control Manager.

· Ensures adherence to all compliance rules, regulations, and SOPs.

· Ensures product is tracked, logged, and destroyed following compliance regulations.

· Monitors that all equipment, machinery, and fleet are maintained and cleaned following company standards and maintenance schedules.

· Manages employee’s attendance, performance, and adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.

· Conducts employee reviews.

· Provides coaching, support and corrective action as needed.

· Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.

· Clean driving record and ability to fill-in as a Delivery Driver

· Ability to effectively communicate well with all levels including direct reports, peers, and executives.

· Advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

· Ability to manage a team and demonstrate leadership by actions and lead as an example.

· Effective time management skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

· Self-Motivated

· Ability to multitask.

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.

· Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

· Reliable transportation

· Availability to work weekends and holidays

Education and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or can substitute experience for a degree.

· 2 to 4 years’ experience in inventory or distribution with some management experience

· Previous experience in a licensed cannabis production facility preferred

Physical Requirements

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, carrying, sitting, and repetitive motions.

· Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to fifty pounds.

· Must be able to sit and drive up to 10 hours a day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
