What you will do:
The Site Director will own the profitability and culture of the site and is accountable to drive expected results for the overall location. S/he is not only responsible for the distribution operations of the site, but also responsible for making sure the site functions at an optimal level from a Staffing/Facilities/IT/Customer Service perspective.
- Responsible for the coaching and mentoring of the Operations Manager, DC Supervisors and their staff.
- Able to create expectations and provide an environment that develops personnel
- Drive clear accountability to results for all roles within the site
- Provide guidance and take action on personnel issues with urgency and balance
- Creatively use Reward & Recognition to get the best results from his/her team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors (freight carriers, utility companies, landlords, etc.) as well as other department managers.
- Be the strategic voice of the DC site to focus all resources on activities that align to company goals and initiatives.
- Drive good labor management practices including staffing plans, labor effectiveness and use,
- Adopt and drive a culture of LEAN methodology as to drive out waste and optimize process.
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment for all staff and embrace a zero tolerance culture for unsafe behaviors
- Deliver capacity plans for Model Year planning to include seasonality fluctuations for all resources, including physical space, labor and equipment.
- Monitor financial KPIs and course correct as needed to deliver expected profitability goals
- Drive and deliver all aspects of company culture.

What you need to succeed:
- Qualifications
- Proven ability to work effectively as a manager and a leader who can motivate a work group!
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Active listening and ability to provide feedback to all stakeholders including managing up with clear communication.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in and/or ability to learn ERP and WMS platforms High Jump and SAP.
- 5-10 years of operational leadership in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.
Other related criteria
- Minimal travel is required. Must be able to travel domestically or internationally if required, including possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Working hours flexibility to evaluate all shifts across all working hours to audit effectiveness of the complete site.

Pay Range: $91,354.92 to $137,033.96
