Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of 37+ non-exempt/contingent colleagues in CVS Health's Orlando distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the Distribution Center. Additionally it will include order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. The Logistics Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
**Candidates for this position must have shift flexibility. Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Hours can vary from 5:00amEST-5:00pmEST**
As the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
- Ensuring colleagues have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks
- Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals
- Balancing workloads by evaluating progress throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion
- Monitoring the work performance of each colleague to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded
- Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis
- Providing ongoing training and retraining of colleagues to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function
- Utilizing a variety or reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday
- Communicate effectively across all levels
- Analyzing information effectively to make sound business decisions
- Build high performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Warehouse Management Systems experience a plus
- Continuous improvement /Six Sigma knowledge a plus
Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$40,600.00 - $75,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
