Dispensary Brand Ambassador

Bay Street Greenery is seeking a motivated and engaging Brand Ambassador to represent our cannabis brand and products. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering a unique and high-end experience to customers seeking cannabis products. This role demands a deep understanding of various cannabis strains, products, and their effects, along with a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Provide a welcoming atmosphere and offer knowledgeable guidance to customers in selecting cannabis products, including explaining the differences in strains, potency, and effects. Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend products that suit their lifestyle and experience level.

Product Knowledge: Maintain an expert understanding of all products available, including flower, edibles, concentrates, topicals, and accessories. Stay updated on new products, trends, and regulations in the cannabis industry.

Sales and Transactions: Efficiently manage sales transactions using the point-of-sale system. Ensure accuracy in dispensing products and handling cash and credit transactions.

Compliance and Regulations: Adhere strictly to all legal regulations governing cannabis sales. Verify customer age and educate customers on responsible consumption.

Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, ensuring products are adequately stocked, stored, and displayed. Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.

Education and Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for cannabis culture and education. Organize and participate in educational workshops or events when required.

Maintaining Dispensary Standards: Ensure the dispensary environment is clean, organized, and reflects the luxury brand. This includes maintaining visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

- Age 21 or older as required by the NJ CRC.

- Understanding and familiarity with Metrc and Flowhub

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and able to adapt to changing situations.

- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, such as weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
