Dispensary Agent

OKAY Cannabis Experience - Evanston, IL is seeking passionate, personable, hard working individuals who guide guests to the appropriate recreational product and provide top notch customer service while complying with all the regulations. Dispensary agents must provide our guests with gracious and prompt service and quality products while maintaining a safe and clean store environment. Agents will need to stay informed of new developments on cannabis laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests with proper check-in verification
• Answering guests questions about different cannabis products and consumption methods.
• Keeping management informed about any complaints or operational issues. You will be responsible for assisting the management team with the activities and operations of the store while acting in accordance with all the policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Each agent will learn and apply these roles:

• Front Desk Agent: The Front Desk Agent verifies age and identification of the purchaser, will verify pre approved vendors, manages both the retail room and guest queues, directs guests to educational and informative material, as well as allowing or denying entrance to the retail room.
• Greeting Agent: The Greeting Agent is in position on the retail floor and is in charge of managing the retail room queues, directing guests to the displays of products or the POS line. They will also educate our guests and answer their questions that arise.
• Fulfillment Agent: The Fulfillment Agent receives the guests orders and will pick the products from the working inventory. Being accurate as a fulfillment agent is critical to avoid inventory errors.
• Sales POS Agent: The Sales POS Agents will conduct the sales at the POS terminals. A critical component for this agent will be handling cash properly and being mindful of counterfeit currency.
• Sales Floor Agent: Sales Floor Agents will show guests our product selection and provide educational and scientific information on our products.

Other functions:

• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary as directed by the Agent in Charge.
• Complying with restocking items and cleaning work areas
• Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
• Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed
• Be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop and carry
• Assist bakery staff with guest services at the bakery
• Work in both warm and cool environments

Qualifications, Education, and Behaviors:

• Per state law, must be 21 yrs. or older.
• Be a resident of Illinois - must provide proof of DL/State Identification card. Maintain an understanding of and follow state cannabis regulations.
• Pass federal and state background check
• Must complete Illinois Responsible Vendor Training within 90 days of employment. Ability to work quickly and precisely while maintaining safety standards and procedures.
