GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Dispensary Lead Associate provides support to the management team by leading operations in all areas, troubleshooting issues, increasing sales, providing exceptional customer service and coaching the staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Communicating feedback and business updates clearly and effectively to staff and management. Makes management aware of any potential threats immediately.
- Daily opening and closing of the store. Supervises all cash-handling responsibilities including: register counts, ordering change, preparing and facilitating cash pick-ups, and investigating cash discrepancies.
- Is fully proficient in all technology and software used to operate the dispensary. Contacts various help desks to resolve any systems problems.
- Resolves customer concerns professionally and excels at de-escalating situations while maintaining composure.
- Leads the team through ongoing changes with a positive attitude, provides constructive feedback, empowers staff with knowledge and addresses their questions or concerns.
- Thoroughly review and assist in the meticulous and accurate receipt of all deliveries. Ensures compliance with local, state, and corporate policies.
- Help conduct nightly and monthly inventory audits following company and state guidelines to prevent any inventory diversion. Investigates any inventory discrepancies and resolves them promptly.
- Assists with destructions, product creation, verifies accurate pricing, receiving, transferring, and reconciling inventory in the POS system. Maintains appropriate levels of day storage inventory.
- Ensures there is adequate staffing at all times and ensures employees' breaks are covered.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming environment for guests.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 months experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
- 1+ years in customer service preferred.
- 1+ years in supervisory/management roles preferred.
- 1+ years register experience preferred.
- Must be 21 or older.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
