Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dispatcher / Call Taker to join our team at SWFL Transportation Group, a leading Transportation Company. As a Dispatcher / Call Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming calls from clients, drivers, and dispatch appropriate vehicles to meet their transportation needs. Bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from clients, drivers, and other personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
• Gather and document necessary information such as pick-up and drop-off locations, time frames, and special instructions.
• Coordinate and dispatch drivers and vehicles to meet client transportation requests efficiently.
• Monitor vehicle locations and provide accurate and timely updates to clients regarding estimated arrival times.
• Handle any issues or incidents that may arise during transportation, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, dispatches, and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize routes and ensure maximum efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
• Stay updated with transportation regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a dispatching or call center role, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatch software is a plus.
• Proficiency in using computers and common software applications.
• Flexibility to work the designated afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm) and occasional weekends.
