Form of workOverview: We are seeking a highly experienced, organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our team. As the Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily hauling operations of our company. You will communicate with drivers, customers, and management to ensure efficient, timely, and safe transportation of trash.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch hauling vehicles and drivers to ensure on-time service delivery to customers with a strong emphasis in productivity.
- Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Track and monitor the progress of routes and communicate any delays or issues to customers and management.
- Maintain accurate records of hauling activities, including mileage, fuel usage, and driver hours.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ability to make your own decisions in a fast paced environment.
- Follow and comply with all safety policies.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the waste management industry.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in computer applications and software, including routing and dispatching systems.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
