CO-Energy is accepting resumes for our Dispatch Logistics Manager position working in our Yakima, WA dispatch center.

The is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of Monday - Friday early day shift starting around 6:00 am. Depending on customer needs overtime hours might occasionally be required either by additional daily hours or added weekend shifts.
COMPENSATION
- Base salary between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on qualifications and experience

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As the leader of the Transport Fuel Dispatch department, the Dispatch Logistics Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Dispatch department including the work activities of Dispatchers and other support staff
- Manage the logistics, including the processing and delivery of products ordered by our customers
- Direct the work flow required to fulfill incoming sales orders – data entry, driver dispatch assignments and customer invoicing
- Work in partnership with the Sales, Accounting, Inventory and Corporate Controls departments to ensure quality, efficient and timely customer deliveries
- In coordination with the Corporate Fleet Manager, will be responsible for managing the maintenance of 30-40 fuel transport vehicles (tractors and tankers)
- Observe and enforce all safety rules and policies
- Conduct weekly vehicle inspections
- Conduct regular audits of driver log books
- Drive continuous improvement in applicable systems and processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of dispatch management or supervisory experience in a trucking, transportation or logistics field
- Ability to effectively manage others in achieving department/company goals and expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and provide excellent service to internal and external customers
- Ability to write, read and interpret routine reports and documents
- Ability to read and understand documents related to sales orders, customer orders, inventory management, delivery routes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company policies and procedures
- Ability to operate a standard computer (keyboard, mouse, printer) including dispatching, inventory management, e-mail and word processing software
- Possess basic math skills including all units of measurement in fractions and decimals
- Possess excellent skills in the following areas: Customer Service, Problem Solving, Planning, Organizing, Quality Control, Dependability, Safety and Security
- Possess a clear driving record – no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a CMV/CDL driver
- Experience as a CMV/CDL driver with Hazmat/fuel industry experience
- College degree in a related field
- Five (5) or more years of dispatch management or supervisory experience the fuel transportation industry
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT
The Dispatch Logistics Manager will work both in office and outdoor settings under the following conditions:
- Normal indoor office conditions which include sitting at a desk for extended periods of time and moving frequently
- All weather conditions - cold, heat, sunshine, rain, snow, etc.
- Moderate noise levels
- When conducting vehicle inspections will work in areas where hazardous materials are stored and transferred, on hard surfaces such as concrete, pavement, dirt and gravel
- Occasionally climb ladders, stairs and equipment
- Balance, Kneel, Stoop, Bend
