Dishwasher/Prep Person

This is a part time position that could turn into full time based on the business need and employee performance. Breakfast / Lunch experience a plus. Restaurant hours are 7 am - 3 pm 7 days a week. Weekends are REQUIRED. Please have current health card and great work ethic. We are a team environment where all members help in every area.
We are looking for a Dishwasher/Prep person to maintain a clean and safe kitchen area. Dishwasher responsibilities include properly sorting and washing soiled dishes; stacks and stores glassware; silverware; cookware; and storage containers. Dishwashers assist in promoting a Safe and Sanitary environment. Prep person will assist the kitchen in setting up the kitchen and restocking as needed. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience. This position is listed as part time but can turn into more for the right fit person. Immediate opening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Sanitary, Clean and Safe environment
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
• Replenish and store clean dishes
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas

Skills

• Work experience as a Dishwasher, Prep person or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, and holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Team player is a must

Pay: $11.25 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
