Duties
- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and paper products
- clean kitchen areas, wash dishes, sweep and mop floors
- Prepare and portion food items according to direction and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation of meals for catering events
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or a related role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
