Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and delicious meals.

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Operate kitchen equipment, including knives, slicers, mixers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage areas and refrigerators
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to prevent foodborne illnesses
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Skills:
- Proficiency in food handling and preparation techniques
- Knowledge of proper knife handling and cutting techniques
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.85 - $19.09 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
