Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations or cupboards
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a catering, culinary, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
