Dishwasher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Skills:
- Food service experience
- Banquet help experience
- Ability to assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment and utensils
- Familiarity with hotel, restaurant, catering, or kitchen operations
- Ability to handle bussing duties as needed
