This role will be the strategic Global Total Rewards Leader for Dematic. This role will be one of the 3 critical functions alongside Global Mobility and HR Projects and Solutions in the newly formed HR Services and Offerings COE for Dematic. The role will be responsible for Broad base comp, Executive Comp, Sales comp, and Benefits for North America.
Responsible for the design, development, administration, and monitoring of Dematic's compensation and benefits strategy. Works closely with KION Total Rewards team to align on executive compensation, Systems implementations and Board Proposals and overall TR philosophy and management. Role is responsible to bring market insights to Sr. Director, HR Services & Offerings, HRLT and GLT of Dematic and Total Rewards of KION, propose changes and drive implementation of new programs/processes and maintain existing programs. This role will be responsible for building the organization (HR and Managers) capability to make day to day pay decisions including trainings, consulting to Dematic's business leaders and HR leaders. Set annual goals for the Total Rewards team in alignment with KION and Dematic's HR leadership. Effectively communicates and leads consultation with key executives, Legal, Finance, and outside consulting firms as necessary to complete job responsibilities.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $125,000 - $225,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
  • In partnership with the Sr. Director, HR Services & Offerings and KION TR group, develop and articulate a Total Rewards philosophy that is reviewed and renewed annually.
  • Drives the strategic development, design, implementation, communication, maintenance, and compliance of all compensation programs to align with the company's Total Rewards philosophy and business objectives.
  • Direct accountability for North America Benefits annual renewal (~$35M budget). Manage open enrollment of 4000+ employees. Work with regional leaders to drive global initiatives in the space. Coach and guide the regional teams in managing regional/country benefits. Responsible for driving the culture of wellbeing across the globe.
  • Identifies, develops, and delivers strategic Total Rewards programs (Including short term incentive programs like ICP/STI/SLM/SLE/SDI/PMIP) that meet and anticipate the internal needs of the organization while monitoring external trends in the marketplace.
  • Educate leaders, managers, and employees on the company's Total Rewards philosophy. Responsible to communicate all compensation and benefits programs, including the development/maintenance of base salary ranges and other compensation practices for the company's various regions.
  • Plans, develops and/or participates in area and industry compensation surveys or special compensation studies, including market-based pricing, to ensure the company's competitive position within the marketplace. Review and analyze findings, assess unique company needs and develop specific recommendations to management with respect to the compensation structure.
  • Work with KION TR team as they prepare materials for meetings of the Compensation Committee of the Board throughout the year.
  • Responsible for executive compensation administration, including executive benchmarking, salary increases, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, key metric tracking, stockholder ownership guidelines, executive severance, and other executive policies.
  • Consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team and Hiring Managers to create competitive offer packages for key strategic executive hires. Review and approve executive offer packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with governance guidelines.
  • Perform compensation-related merger/acquisition/divestiture work as necessary - due diligence, retention, integration, etc.
  • Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders with significant strategic and financial impact.
  • Enabling the business by developing a strategic talent plan and helping to guide critical talent decisions including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development and performance management to support Dematic's growth plans.
  • Use metrics and data to enable business leaders by identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leadership team to implement effective strategies to enable meaningful change and the opportunity that it brings. Champion initiatives that support the success of the organization's growth and reinforce a collaborative, aligned, and engaged culture.

What We are Looking For:
  • 10+ years of directly applicable Human Resource Leadership experience in a global, fast paced, innovative, engineering / technology company.
  • Advance degree, or equivalent, and relevant direct work experience required.
  • Experience working with Senior Leaders across the globe
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Human Resources areas including; Compensation, Benefits and Change Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders as a trusted advisor and confidant.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving initiatives, while holding teams accountable
