Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is looking for a Director-Supplier Quality India to join the team in Bangalore, India. This position will be an Expatriate assignment and relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided based on candidate eligibility.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to Bangalore, India for up to 2 years of assignment. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the BCA Supplier Quality organization in India
  • Partner with SC and DGCA to lead and accelerate development of large structures, interiors, systems and final assembly aerospace design, production and certification capability
  • Lead Boeing's participation in the formation and development of the India Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) and act as Boeing's representative on the foundation
  • Executive relationship owner with TATA

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving a culture of compliance and mitigating risk through a thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) operating at a senior management level or above
  • Minimum 5 years of experience driving problem solving, communicating with multiple levels of executive leadership, managing and responding to defect metric data trends and predictive indicators
  • Minimum 5 years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using critical business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape strategy
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Ability to drive problem solving, communicate with multiple levels of executive leadership, manage and respond to defect metric data trends and predictive indicators
  • Strong Team building experience including Supply Chain and Engineering
  • A strong background in commercial airplanes and commercial derivatives operations is highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Lean Manufacturing / Production System
  • Ability to build an environment of inclusion, transparency and trust
  • Experience managing mid-level and senior managers
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Knowledge of Indian Aerospace sector and business culture
  • Experience working International assignment

Typical Education & Experience:
Typically, 10 or more years' related work experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Additional Assignment Details:
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $170,000 to 230,000
