Position Summary
Manages the daily operations and administration for the Care and Concern Team. Coordinates communication among departments; supports programs and activities; and serves as a resource for students, faculty, and staff in all issues related to Student Health and wellness. Acts as a liaison among coordinated care units. Supports the vision and execution of a comprehensive campus health services program. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Description of Key Responsibility
Leads the Care and Concern Team to address the needs of students at risk, as part of the University's 3-tiered students-at-risk behavioral response structure. Facilitates weekly meetings to discuss the needs of vulnerable students or students identified as at-risk. Meets with students of concern and serves as a liaison among faculty, advisors, students, families, and the Assistant Vice President of Student Success. Tracks and updates students of concern, resolution, and follow-up through case management software. Makes recommendations to the Assistant Vice President of Student Success for medical leaves and return-to-campus. Establishes, cultivates and maintains effective working relationships as it relates to students of concern with the Office of Student Conduct Administration, Title IX Coordinator, Dean of Students, Counseling and Psychological Services, Residential Life, Public Safety, and other internal constituents in order to assist students in need.

Collaborates with campus community to identify Student Health and wellness programs in alignment with UHart Start. Provides training and educational outreach support to campus community members seeking to offer wellness programming and initiatives for various groups.

Assists the Dean of Students Office and Center for Student Success by resolving student issues as necessary and serving as a resource for parents, students, faculty, and staff as appropriate. Acts as a first-line of support and intervention when a student is identified as at risk or a sensitive campus matter arises, in cooperation with Student Conduct, Title IX, Dean of Students, Counseling and Psychological Services, Residential Life, and Public Safety.

Participates in Behavioral Intervention Team, and Emergency Preparedness and Response Team, including assisting with management and effective communication of public health issues.
